my running adventures – barefoot or otherwise
I really enjoy reading, whether that’s books, magazines or other blogs and music is another passion of mine. Recently, my partner and I have seen Bastille at Nottingham Arena and we’re looking forward to the Dot-to-Dot festival in May 2017.
I hope you enjoy my blog, which is mostly about running, and my occasional adventures in barefoot running!
As far as running goes, here’s a breakdown of my Personal Bests as of April 2017:
5k: 17:04 (Parkrun, May 2015)
10k: 36:14 (during Notts AC Ten Mile race June 2016)
Half Marathon: 1:19 (Robin Hood Half Marathon, September 2015)
My goals for 2017 include:
To run a sub-17 minute 5k (no specific date or time for this, but aiming to do it at a parkrun to make it all official!)
To enter races and represent Long Eaton Running Club well in various distance races.
To PB at Half Marathon distance.
To utilise my Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) qualification, helping others to enjoy their running!
